Triumph in the North

STARTS at 09.00hrs until around 16.00hrs

“Triumph in the North” As clubs slowly get smaller the bigger events are getting smaller and when they do happen, are often at the opposite end of the country to where you live. So it makes a lot more sense to look at more small to medium local events, at venues that are already Motorist friendly!

The local groups of the TR Drivers Club TR Register and TSSC are teaming up with the Motorist a specialist motoring hub,

For a British car day “featuring Triumphs” on Saturday 5th July at 09.00hrs.

The facilities at the Motorist are second to none including a very comprehensive motoring shop, café, a top class restaurant, a bar and and even an on site ice-cream van. See https://www.themotorist.com/

Any Triumph model is most welcome, and the more the merrier. No need to belong to any club or even to turn up in a Triumph, your normal car is welcome, it will just be parked away from the display area, everyone is welcome and families especially so as who will drive these cars when we are gone, if we don’t encourage the young!

PLEASE TAKE NOTE: We also hold a monthly meet for Triumphs at the Motorist every second Wednesday from 18.00hrs onwards run by representatives from the three clubs above. Everyone welcome just turn up and say Hi.

More information will appear HERE as it gets confirmed and announced so please bookmark the page and keep checking back for updates.

Motorist opens/Event starts from 09.00hrs through to late afternoon 16.00hrs. Meals are bookable in the restaurant, and the café is open all day.

You will see this marketed by the MOTORIST as a British Car Day featuring Triumphs so expect to see plenty of other British cars there. If we get enough interest from Triumph owners then we can next year potentially make it a really big Triumph only event! We have a generous number of reserved parking bays just for displaying Triumphs, but they will be on a first come first served basis so please arrive as early as you can.

There is plenty of parking on site for many hundreds of cars, so if you arrive later you may end up parking slightly away from the main Triumph group. We will have marshals looking out for Triumphs as you come through the gate and directing you to available spaces, but if someone directs you away from where you can see the Triumphs, perhaps because they don’t recognise a given car as a Triumph “politely” make the point that is where you believe you should be. It may be all the spaces are full so first come first served!
